Richard Mowrey is President of Management Services & Development, Ltd., a firm which provides private investment banking services to closely-held businesses.

Richard specialized in the valuation, value planning, and sale of "mid-sized" businesses. In addition, Richard personally supervises strategic acquisition searches for selected client corporations. Mr. Mowrey has been and continues to be an active member of the board of directors of a number of close-held business. He brings a wealth of knowledge and practical experience from his personal business ownership over the years, has varied direct management responsibilities, and has advisory experiences in start-up companies, turn-around situations, and tranactional management.

Richard holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering and a MS in Management from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY. Prior to starting Management Services & Development, Ltd. in 1979, he served as an engineering manager and financial analyst for several fortune five-hundred corporations. In addition, Richard has taught at Wentworth College, Rollins College, and IUP (Indiana University of Pennsylvania).

Richard is a "Fellow of the IBBA" and holds certifications as follows:

• Certified Management Accountant (CMA) from the Institute of Certified Management Accountants,
• Certified Business Appraiser (CBA) from the Institute of Business Appraisers
• Certified Business Intermediary (CBI) from the International Business Brokers Association.
